# Why Can't I Launch Calls or Campaigns?

## Overview

Launch permissions fail when account prerequisites are missing. Active plan status governs persistence actions, and wallet credits govern billable execution.

## How it works

- Subscription checks validate whether your workspace can perform protected actions like publishing and launch setup persistence.
- Credit checks validate runtime spend capacity, so calls and SMS cannot start when wallet balance is depleted.

## Important fields

- **subscription_required:** Returned when persist actions need an active plan.
- **insufficient_credits:** Returned when wallet balance is zero for billable actions.
