# Understanding Your Dashboard

How the sidebar, credits pill, and workspace sections fit together. Read the Getting Started guide in Hello Alex documentation.

## Overview

The dashboard is your control surface for daily operations across calls, messaging, campaigns, leads, and AI coaching. You use it to see what is happening now, spot performance shifts quickly, and decide where to act next.

## How it works

- Each workspace card summarizes a different part of your system, so you can move from high-level health checks to focused action without losing context.
- Because metrics update in place, changes in call load, response quality, or credit runway appear early, which helps you correct issues before they affect larger campaigns.
- When a metric needs attention, the related View All route takes you directly into the right workspace, turning dashboard signals into immediate operational decisions.

## Important fields

- **Sidebar:** Primary navigation that groups tools by job, so you can switch between monitoring, building, and account management without hunting for pages.
- **Credits pill:** Your current credit balance and runway indicator, which shows whether you have enough capacity for upcoming call or messaging volume.

## Tips

- Treat the dashboard as a live pulse check: review it before launches and after major pathway changes so you can catch regressions quickly.

## Command Center

Command Center surfaces the most important operating signals in one strip, including activity, pipeline movement, and credit health. You use it as your first check so your next action is based on current system state, not guesswork.

Move to Voice Calls to see how active traffic is converting into completed outcomes.

- The metrics strip combines live throughput and resource data, which lets you see whether operations are stable before you open any deeper workspace.
- When Active Now increases or credits trend down, those signals reveal immediate workload pressure, so you can rebalance campaigns or top up before performance drops.
- Because each metric reflects a different stage of your operation, reading them together gives you cause-and-effect context instead of isolated numbers.
- **Credits:** Available wallet balance and estimated runway, meaning how long your current balance can support activity at today's pace.
- **Active Now:** Calls currently in progress across inbound and outbound traffic, which indicates real-time system load.
- If runway starts shrinking faster than expected, pause new batches and review billing or campaign pacing before continuing.

## Voice Calls

Voice Calls shows the health of your calling operation, from live volume to completion quality. You use it to confirm whether current pathway behavior is producing the outcomes you expect.

Open SMS Messaging next if your workflow mixes calls and text follow-up.

- Active Now reflects immediate call concurrency, so you can tell whether your current launch is still underway or tapering off.
- Completed and success metrics translate raw volume into outcomes, which helps you decide whether script, routing, or targeting changes are needed.
- Recent call rows connect summary metrics to concrete examples, making it easier to diagnose whether issues are broad trends or isolated events.
- **Success rate:** The share of calls that reached the intended completion condition, such as a qualified outcome or successful handoff.
- **Recent calls:** Latest individual calls with destination and duration, useful for spotting unusual call lengths or abrupt drop-offs.
- A sudden duration change often signals prompt mismatch, so compare recent calls before editing pathway logic.

## SMS Messaging

SMS Messaging tracks outbound text performance and reply momentum in one place. You use it to verify that follow-up conversations keep moving after calls are placed.

Continue to Campaigns to see how these channels perform inside broader mission runs.

- Sent and Delivered show whether your outbound messaging pipeline is functioning, so you can separate delivery issues from copy or targeting issues.
- Response rate indicates engagement quality, which helps you judge whether message timing and content are prompting real conversations.
- Recent threads reveal where contacts are waiting on replies, letting your team prioritize responses that can unblock conversions.
- **Response rate:** The proportion of conversations that receive replies, which reflects how compelling and relevant your outbound texts are.
- **Recent threads:** Most recent contact conversations with message counts, helping you spot active threads that need follow-up.
- If delivery stays high but response drops, adjust message framing before increasing volume.

## Campaigns

Campaigns summarizes mission execution, including what is running now and what reach you have achieved. You use it to balance throughput with control as your outreach scales.

Go to CRM & Leads to confirm campaign activity is translating into pipeline progress.

- Running counts show active missions, so you can verify planned work is actually executing in real time.
- Completed and reached metrics connect campaign volume to audience coverage, which clarifies whether current scheduling is meeting your targets.
- Progress indicators on each campaign expose pacing differences, helping you intervene early when a mission falls behind or finishes too quickly.
- **Running:** Campaigns currently executing calls or messages, which represents your live outreach load.
- **Reached:** Total contacts successfully reached across campaigns, used to measure effective audience coverage.
- When reach grows but outcomes stay flat, revisit list quality or pathway positioning before launching additional campaigns.

## CRM & Leads

CRM & Leads shows how conversation activity turns into pipeline movement. You use it to understand whether outreach is producing qualified opportunities, not just interactions.

Review AI Intelligence to find coaching recommendations that improve weak funnel stages.

- Top-level lead counts provide immediate pipeline volume context, so you can see whether acquisition is accelerating or slowing.
- Conversion metrics translate engagement into business outcomes, helping you evaluate if pathway quality and follow-up are aligned with revenue goals.
- The Lead to Qualified to Customer funnel shows stage transitions, which makes drop-off points visible and easier to address with targeted changes.
- **Lead funnel:** Stage counts from new lead through qualified lead to customer, showing where prospects progress or stall.
- **Conversion:** The percentage of calls that produce qualified or booked outcomes, used as a signal of commercial effectiveness.
- Watch for stage bottlenecks rather than raw lead volume, because stalled transitions are usually where revenue leakage starts.

## AI Intelligence

AI Intelligence surfaces coaching recommendations from real interactions and shows which changes you already applied. You use it to turn call data into practical optimization decisions.

Finish with Pathways to apply insights directly to the conversation flows that drive outcomes.

- New insights are generated from recent call patterns, so recurring friction points become explicit instead of hidden in transcripts.
- Applied recommendations create a feedback loop between analysis and execution, which helps you track whether operational updates are actually landing.
- Improvement trends compare performance over time, allowing you to confirm that optimization work is producing measurable lift.
- **Insights:** Actionable recommendations generated by AI from recent call and messaging behavior.
- **Improvement:** Week-over-week performance change after recommendations are implemented, used to validate impact.
- Apply one high-impact recommendation at a time when possible, so you can attribute performance changes with confidence.

## Pathways

Pathways gives you a view of your conversation flow library and how reliably each flow achieves its goal. You use it to prioritize which flows should be tuned, expanded, or retired.

Next, open the Pathways workspace to refine prompts, branching, and outcomes based on this performance view.

- Total and active counts show how much of your flow library is currently in production, which helps you manage scope and complexity.
- Average success rate indicates whether active pathways are meeting intent goals, so underperforming flows become obvious quickly.
- Recent usage highlights the flows handling most traffic, allowing you to focus optimization effort where it will affect the largest share of calls.
- **Avg Success:** Average goal completion rate across active pathways, representing how often calls end in the intended outcome.
- **Uses:** Recent run count for each pathway, showing which conversation flows carry the most operational load.
- Prioritize edits on high-use pathways first, because small gains there usually produce the biggest overall impact.
